Vertical blinds Modern and effective
Today's vertical blinds have evolved to be one of the most stylish and versatile choices for any room in the modern home. They no longer look or fill like you are in office environment.
We have a huge choice of fabrics available in 89mm and 127mm wide louvers In wide variety of colours and textures to suit any room. We offer soft PVC and rigid PVC slats. Specialist features include machine washable, fire retardant, blackout, dim-out, glare reduction, light reflective with reflective backing to deflect heat and moisture resistant.
Verticals are perfect for conservatories, angled windows, curved windows or arched windows as well as the traditional patio or bay window. Vertical blinds are particularly useful in applications that are affected by the sun moving around the side of the window (e.g. bay windows or larger windows). The louvers may be rotated frequently by a few degrees at a time to continually allow large amounts of light in the room whilst protecting the room from direct sunrays.
Virtually maintenance free and easy to operate, It has a high degree of light control and privacy. Vertical blinds are particularly useful in environments where TV screens and computer screens require light to be deflected away from them, to cut down additional glare.
Not only do they look stunning, they are extremely practical. They are easily controlled and can be adjusted to alter the amount of light coming into a room. When fully closed they offer privacy.
Vertical Blinds hang from an ingenious mechanical Headrail that performs two main operations.
Firstly it enables the whole blind to be retracted to one (left or right) side of the window opening, or gathered at each end similar to curtains. They can even be gathered in the middle!
Secondly, the louver hangers rotate in unison through 180 degrees by means of an actuating bar and control cord.
The "bottom chains" that join the louvers together help to stabilise the whole blind when moving and stationary.
